I had to have cataract surgery for both eyes as my eyes were finally so bad no glasses could correct. I was so nervous and almost got sold the $2000 per eye laser procedure to remove when i had several friends who are nurses recommend i don’t need the laser, the original extraction method is so easy and all the dr’s are good at it. It was not Dr Ripa who tried to sell this, it was eye care institute’s Video they make you watch making it sounds like the superior option. I even made an extra apt with her to confirm I’m ok with regular procedure. She assured me I’d be fine. And I was! She is very sweet, friendly, sharp, and attentive. First eye, easy peasy, second eye easy peasy! And it’s covered by insurance vs the laser option. One thing that was very helpful is she recommended i get these distance cheaters for inbetween when my eyes are actually done. That was an incredibly good suggestion, only available on amazon. Yesterday was my second eye. I have no pain, no pressure, only shockingly, now I see better! Thank you Dr Repa! ♥️

I had a very pleasant visit to the eye institute. I went in for my annual eye exam. It began with the first step to check the eyes out. This and the subsequent test were done by tech, Hailey. She was thorough and very pleasant when she finished her part, Dr Yang came in for the Main exam. She is so pleasant and an excellent eye surgeon. I highly respect her and the staff at the eye care institute.

I want to make sure that I acknowledge what amazing service I received when I ordered glasses. They are a special order because they needed a prism in them. And there were issues at the manufacturer. BUT Kelsie was amazing and solved the issues for me. My experience with her from the get go was all about kindness, patience, knowledge and expertise. From helping me pick out frames to compassion for my double vision. She was always professional and helped me to feel relaxed and at ease. And also a shout out to the manager Mark who stood behind her and supported her decisions and helped make my experience easier as well. Plus every time I came in he greeted me with a smile and remembered my name! Feels important to acknowledge excellent service and that is what I received.

I cannot recommend Dr. Madeline Ripa highly enough! I recently visited her regarding a pterygium, which had been causing me some anxiety. From the moment I walked in, she was attentive, compassionate, and incredibly knowledgeable. She took the time to listen to all of my concerns, thoroughly explain my options, and address each question I had. Her professionalism and care instantly put me at ease. I truly feel like I am in the best hands possible. I couldn’t have asked for a better ophthalmologist—Dr. Ripa is simply outstanding!

I feel so very blessed to be under the excellent compassionate care of Dr. Shah. She is highly skilled, knowledgeable and kind. She is dedicated to her patients and the less fortunate, so giving of her time and expertise. She is one of a kind. My peace of mind has been restored under her care. My vision greatly improved.

I’ve been coming here nearly 10 years. I have always been impressed by the level of professionalism and dedication the staff has shown. Recently, I was fitted for a a pair of Oakley glasses. They never worked out. I had to come in several times for refitting and repairing. Ultimately, the staff, not me, suggested a no cost replacement with a different pair. They arrived and I am very satisfied. Customer for life

My son came here last week for a Social Security Disability appointment. This office was clean, organized, and the staff was very nice. A special thank you to Dr. Abramson who spotted something wrong and sent him back to his regular eye doctors. They caught something serious because of him!
