Professional Focus:
My expertise in comprehensive ophthalmology allows me a variety of interests. I concentrate on cataract surgery, with an emphasis on refractive outcomes. This is supplemented by my surgical skills as a refractive surgeon. Additionally, I have interests in neuro-ophthalmology and lid reconstructive surgery. I am fluent in spoken and written Spanish, so I enjoy taking care of many Hispanic patients.
Personal Interests:
I have lived in Sonoma County since 1999, and live with my wonderful wife of 30 years and two teenage boys. I am an avid road bicyclist as well as small boat sailor. I play a number of musical instruments, but enjoy acoustic guitar the most. I am very close to my two brothers that live nearby. It is wonderful to have them so close.
