Bruce Jonas, RDO
Bruce Jonas, our Optical Shop manager and Chief Optician, is the reason why we believe that we have the highest quality optical dispensary here at the Eye Care Institute. Bruce has been an optician for 40 years and has been trained in all aspects of lens and frame design. His level of training is way beyond the training received by the average optical technician employed in chain stores or discount houses. Because of this, Bruce is able to solve optical fitting problems and complex glasses issues.
Bruce had his own optical shop in Santa Rosa for many years. The doctors at Eye Care Institute knew of the excellent quality of his work and would often send complex jobs to him. Eventually, it was decided that a merger of his talents and the comprehensive eye care at Eye Care Institute would offer the best possible array of services for our patients; and so Bruce joined ECI in 1995.
